INDRANI

Fashion director, photographer and digital artist, Indrani is sought after by top celebrities to craft their image to the world.  Born in Calcutta, Indrani began her career as a successful model at the age of 14 in Toronto. 

Her experience in front of the lens helped shape her  unique style of photography and filmmaking behind the lens and it's propelled her to the top of the fashion realm. She is best known for her iconic work with Lady Gaga, Beyonce, David Bowie, Iman, and Kanye West.  Indrani is passionate about her work and still works with her photographic partner, Markus Klinko.

Education is Indrani's passion project.  Having put herself through Princeton University to earn a degree with high honors in Anthropology, Indrani founded Shakti Empowerment Education with her father, Ajay Pal-Chaudhuri in 1994.  Located  in their family home in West Bengal, India, the charitable foundation's mission is to empower and uplift women to end the cycle in poverty.  SEEschool.org provides free quality education for over 300 children, a library, homeopathic clinic, women's literacy, vocational training and mircofinancing for the village women's collectives.
