McKendry
McKendry graduated with a degree in art and film from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London. After graduation he started his career in London as a storyboard artist and then in Australia as an art director. When he came to New York City he worked for commercial agencies Chiat-Day and Ogilvy & Mather NY which gave McKendry the experience needed to launch his career as a successful commercial director.
A storyteller at heart, McKendry shot a short film, Everything In This Country Must, based on a novella by Colum McCann. This passion film went on to be nominated for an Oscar in 2005. So it's no surprise that he stretched his directing skills (as well as writing/story telling skills) and shot his first Hollywood feature, Killer Elite, starring Robert Di Nero, Jason Statham and Clive Owen
